The main mechanic of dodging the ghosts and collecting the items is somewhat basic. That's not necessarily a problem, but there's not much else to complement or contrast with it, so overall the primary play-loop becomes tiring pretty quickly.
Polishing the movement and making it feel fun to move around could help, as well as slowly adding enemies with new movement types or projectiles of their own.
